PipersThis competition features an extraordinary line up of pipers who are the at the top of their piping game.

This will be an absolute must see for festival goers.

Four outstanding pipers have been selected to compete:

  • Kyle Warren, former World Champion with FMM Pipe Band, Red Hot Chilli Piper and 2015 NCF Piping Competition winner
  • Katherine Belcher, member of Inverary & District Pipe Band, 2014 Victorian Champion, 2016 RU Brown A Grade Champion

Piobaireachd is the Gaelic word, which literally means “piping” or “act of piping.” This concert program is the creation of Jono Quay and Simon Gibson, both “A” Grade pipers, and Simon a VCA trained vocalist. The concert will incorporate singing, story-telling and top-notching playing, with Jono and Simon being joined by a number of other accomplished pipers.
