LANTUNDA AT GEELONG AFTER DARK
Lantunda is a community arts project in partnership with National Celtic Festival, a Made in Natimuk artist Mary French and the Portarlington community
3 shop windows on James st were transformed, images danced and played to create a world of colour, shadow and light to tell the story of the Celtic Sea God Mannanon!
Help make one of the trees at the entrance to the festival come alive with twinkling lights.
To make the sculptural shapes we need lots of recycled bottles –about 200. Water or soft drink bottles with lids attached, in all sizes, are ideal.
During the festival you are invited to make some of the sculptural ‘flowers’ to add to the tree. A lovely way to make something beautiful from objects that may otherwise be thrown away.
