Out of Hand

What happens when two pairs of siblings who have been playing folk and Celtic music all their lives end up at the same school?  It gets Out of Hand.  Sadie, Caleb, Daniel and Charlie come together to play toe-tapping tunes, lilting Celtic melodies and quirky originals on fiddles, bass, bodhran and vocals. Brothers Caleb and Daniel have played with the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club for five years and as well as performing at the various festivals and functions around Melbourne, Caleb performed with the MSFC on a tour of Scotland. Sadie may be known to audiences as award-winning singer-songwriter ‘Girl on the Hill’ and brother Charlie is a seasoned performer at festivals around the country. Out of Hand are tutored and mentored by Shelley Heath and Tim Blake at Yarra Valley Grammar.  Rehearsals are squeezed into lunchtime-breaks but nothing can stop these keen musicians – they will play in rain, hail or shine!
