An interactive artwork created by Tim O’Hara and Gillian Turner

By day, a large gum tree in the middle of the festival site will be magnificently decorated with suspended ropes.  After dark, the tree is transformed into a magical wonderland of lights.

Visitors are invited to add to the artwork by writing a message on a piece of material and tying it to one of the many ropes.

The FOCAL TREE has been a popular place for children and adults since 2019.
