Party with the planet

It is happening again: Party with the Planet!

The National Celtic Festival has been able to achieve an incredible outcome of reducing ‘waste’ by 90%!

A huge thank you to all patrons, vendors and festival partners making this happen.

This year we are building on our efforts to ensure we are contributing to the circular economy.

We are again partnering with the awesome folk at Bellarine Catchment Network, and Bellarine Bayside to achieve our Towards Zero Waste strategy.

We are saying NO to single use plastic and YES to reducing, reusing and recycling.

Thank our vendors, our green team volunteers  for supporting us in achieving zero waste.

Take all ‘waste’ to our recovery stations and choose the right bin; when we get this right, we get it right for the planet!

This is what you can do:

  • BYO water bottle and fill up at our hydration stations

  • BYO hot beverage cup

  • Use our reusable beer, Guinness or wine cups – no need to buy them!

  • Return your reusable beer, Guinness or wine cups to our recovery stations (Last year we lost a lot. Please, don’t take them home, as it costs us!)

Spread the word and encourage each other as we sing and dance to a new tune –
making this work for you, for us and for all life on this planet!

As festival organisers we recognise the significance of the land on which the festival is held to the indigenous people of the area and in collaboration with local elders have developed means to acknowledge this in a meaningful way.
