The Heavy Games

The South Pacific Highland Games Championship to be held at The National Celtic Festival.

The inclusion of this Scottish cultural event will provide a new and exciting spectacle to the Bellarine and the greater community.

The event will be featuring the best in each class Male and Female - Australia and New Zealand  as well as local heavy athletes, some of the largest athletes in the world competing in traditional highland games heavy events including the heavy stone throw, the sheaf toss and the crowed favorite the caber toss.

All with expert commentary by a master of ceremony.

10AM-10:30AM - Highland Games: Come & Try it Under 12, Pitch 1

11:00-12:00 PM - Light Weight for Distance, Pitch 1

12:00-1:00 PM - Open Stone Put, Pitch 1 

1:15-1:45 PM - Heavyweight for Distance, Pitch 1

2:00-3:00 PM - Qualification for Caber Toss, Pitch 1

1:30-2:30 PM - Weight Over The Bar, Pitch 1
